Association copy, inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper in the year of publication, “For Norman MaClean – Who can probably find in some of the details – with best wishes of Hamilton Basso Oct. 25, 1942.” The recipient, fellow American author Norman Maclean is best known for his classic 1976 novel A River Runs Through It. In very good condition. Exceedingly rare; scarce signed and inscribed.
