Emigrating to the United States from the Ukraine when she was a baby, Sophie's family settled in Connecticut. At the age of 19, she moved down to New York City to become a singer, actress, and comedian. Her autobiography contains her reflections on her first 25 years in show business. This edition was privately published by the author.
