Royal octavo, bound in full red morocco by Henry Sotheran with gilt titles and ruling to the spine in six compartments within raised gilt bands, gilt ruling to the front and rear panels, gilt turn-ins and inner dentelles, marbled endpapers, top edge gilt, tissue-guarded color frontispiece of Rip Van Winkle tipped in, illustrated with 49 additional tissue-guarded tipped-in plates by Arthur Rackham. In near fine condition. Original green cloth bound in at rear.
