Boldly signed by Eudora Welty on a page bound in. In fine condition. An exceptional example.
Eudora Welty won the 1973 Pulitzer Prize and was later awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom. She was also the first living author to have her works published by the Library of America. 'One Writer’s Beginnings' (1984) is a reflective memoir that traces the formative influences of her childhood in Jackson, Mississippi, and their role in shaping her development as a writer. Originally delivered as a series of lectures, the work is organized into three thematic sections—“Listening,” “Learning to See,” and “Finding a Voice”—through which Welty examines how attention to language, observation, and personal experience informed her literary craft.
