Alain Prost (b. 1955) is a French racing driver and four-time Formula One World Champion (1985, 1986, 1989, 1993), widely regarded as one of the most accomplished competitors in the sport’s history. Over a career spanning 1980 to 1993, Prost secured 51 Grand Prix victories, a record at the time of his retirement, along with 33 pole positions and 106 podium finishes.
