William Delbert Gann was among the most famous and enigmatic figures in the history of financial markets, a trader and forecaster whose techniques, the Gann angles, the square of nine, and his theories relating price, time, and geometry, have attracted a devoted following among technical analysts to this day. Truth of the Stock Tape was his first full-length book, a study of the stock and commodity markets offering charts and rules for successful trading and investing, and it set out the disciplined, rule-based reading of the ticker tape that would help make Gann a legend.
