Octavo, full blue leather, 53 volumes. From the library of industrialist William H. Vanderbilt, with his bookplate in each volume. Gilt titles and tooling to the spine, gilt lines to the front and rear panel, raised bands, inner dentelles, top edge gilt. Plates in each volume, tissue guards present. An exceptional set with distinguished provenance.
