First American edition, preceding the British first. Octavo, original cloth. Signed by the author on the front free endpaper in the year of publication, “Inscribed by Winston S. Churchill Dec. 11, 1931.” In near fine condition with a touch of toning to the spine, bookplate. A scarce signed example.
