The Terminal List (2018) is the debut novel of Jack Carr, a former United States Navy SEAL sniper who drew on more than two decades of special operations experience to produce one of the most authentic and viscerally compelling military thrillers of the modern era. The novel follows Lieutenant Commander James Reece, whose entire platoon is killed in a catastrophic ambush on his final combat deployment, only for him to discover on returning home that the attack was not the work of a foreign enemy but a conspiracy reaching to the highest levels of the American government.
