In The Sky People, Trench posits his theory that Adam and Eve were experimental creations of extraterrestrials who originally resided on Mars. Claiming that the Biblical description of the Garden of Eden was inconsistent with what was on Earth, he argues that the Garden of Eden was actually located on the planet Mars, but that the melting of a polar ice cap forced its residents to relocate to the planet Earth.
