Presentation copies, both volumes are inscribed by the author on the title page, "For Steve Isaac Asimov 30 Aug 80." Both volumes are near fine in a near fine dust jacket. Prisoners of the Stars is in a price-clipped dust jacket. Jacket designs by Robert Korn.
The first volume in The Collected Fiction of Isaac Asimov, The Far Ends of the Earth, contains some of Asimov's earliest fiction and debut fantasies including his first book Pebble in the Sky, Earth Is Room Enough - a collection of short stories, and The End of Eternity - a wonderful tale of time travel. The second volume, Prisoners of the Stars, contains his two classic tales of interstellar travel: The Stars, Like Dust and The Currents of Space, both set during the rise of the First Galactic Empire, as well as The Martian Way and Other Stories.
