First separate edition of Churchill’s ominously prophetic article. 12mo, original wrappers. In near fine condition. Rare, especially in this condition.

This ominously prophetic article first appeared in Nash's Pall Mall Magazine before being published in the U.S. as this stand-alone pamphlet. In it Churchill envisages a future world at risk from chemical and bacteriological warfare, and warns of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction ("Might not a bomb no bigger than an orange be found to possess secret power to destroy a whole block of buildings nay, to blast a township at a stroke?").
