Rumble Fish follows the story of Rusty-James, a 14-year-old boy who has already taken to the culture of drinking, smoking, gang-fighting, hustling and playing pool for money by the side of his older brother Motorcycle Boy and best friend Steve Hays. The novel was adapted into a film of the same name in 1983 directed by Francis Ford Coppola and starring Matt Dillon and Mickey Rourke.
