Octavo, bound in full crushed levant navy morocco by John Bumpus, gilt titles and tooling to the spine in six compartments within raised gilt banes, triple gilt ruling and fleuron cornerpieces to the front and rear panel, gilt turn-ins and inner dentelles, marbled endpapers, top edge gilt. In near fine condition. Neat period ownership inscription.
English poet and journalist Edwin Arnold remains best known for his narrative poem The Light of Asia (1879), or The Great Renunciation.
