Rare graphite artist’s sketch of American actress Lucille Ball. Signed by Lucille Ball. Additionally signed by the artist, P.B. Socci. Active in the mid 1970s, American artist Pat B. Socci gained a reputation for seeking out Hollywood icons to sign his sketched portraits. The drawing measures 10.5 inches by 8 inches.
Best known for her starring role in the self-produced sitcom I Love Lucy, American actress and comedian Lucille Ball was nominated for 13 Primetime Emmy Awards and became one of the first recipients of the Women in Film Crystal Award. Ball appeared on the cover of TV Guide more than any other person and was inducted into the National Women's Hall of Fame in 2001.
