The collection comprises: The Age of Uncertainty (Houghton Mifflin, 1977), his acclaimed history of economic thought and its makers; A Journey Through Economic Time (Houghton Mifflin, 1994), his firsthand account of the defining economic events of the century; and A Tenured Professor (Houghton Mifflin, 1990), his witty satirical novel of a Harvard economist who cracks the secret of the stock market. Each volume is a presentation copy, inscribed by the author to Jane O’Riley, who divided her time between Cambridge, Massachusetts and Vermont, the two places Galbraith himself called home. Each volume is fine in very good to fine dust jackets. A wonderful grouping of Galbraith at his most expansive.
