First edition of this golf instructional. Octavo, original cloth, illustrated throughout. Boldly signed by Sam Snead on the title page. Near fine in a very good dust jacket with toning to the text block, sunning to the spine of the dust jacket, and light soiling.
Sam Snead won a record 82 PGA Tour events, including seven majors. His nickname was "Slammin' Sammy" and he was admired by many for having the so-called "perfect swing," which generated many imitators. He was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1974, and received the PGA Tour Lifetime Achievement Award in 1998.
