Brett Hull, nicknamed the Golden Brett, is one of the greatest goal-scorers in the history of the National Hockey League. The son of the legendary Bobby Hull, he made his name with the St. Louis Blues, where in the 1990-91 season he scored 86 goals, the third-highest single-season total in NHL history, and won the Hart Memorial Trophy as the league's most valuable player. Over a nineteen-season career he scored 741 goals, the fourth-most all time, and won the Stanley Cup with the Dallas Stars in 1999 and the Detroit Red Wings in 2002. A member of one of hockey's greatest families, Brett and Bobby Hull are the only father and son each to have scored more than 600 goals and to have won the Hart Trophy. Brett Hull was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2009.
