Arthur Miller's classic literature won him numerous awards, including the 1949 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, the 1984 Kennedy Center Honors, and the 2001 Praemium Imperiale. A View from the Bridge immediately premiered on Broadway in Manhattan, N.Y. at what is now the Eugene O'Neill Theatre. The play has been so adored that revival acts have premiered frequently in both N.Y. and London, which have involved multiple Golden Globe-winners Dustin Hoffman and Scarlett Johansson.
