  First British edition of this biography of "Buffalo Bill" written by his sister, Helen Cody Wetmore. Octavo, original leather covered boards, frontispiece, with black and white illustrations. Presentation copy, inscribed by William Frederick "Buffalo Bill" Cody in fountain pen on the half-title page, "With the compliments of the subject, W.F. Cody 'Buffalo Bill' Billings, To Mrs. Lilian White, Cardiff, July 6th, 1903." The recipient was a performer with the Barnum & Bailey Circus. In good condition with rubbing, sunning to the spine, and a loss to the crown of the spine. Accompanied by a folding map of "The Barnum & Bailey Greatest Show on Earth Tour of the United Kingdom 1897-98" bound in red hardcover boards. In very good condition. Rare signed and inscribed.
