Rare second American edition of the most important book published in America before 1800 and the only full-length book published by Jefferson during his lifetime. Octavo, bound in full calf, morocco spine label lettered in gilt, gilt ruling to the spine in six compartments within raised bands, full-page "Eye-Draught of Madison's Cave" woodcut, folding letterpress table of the Indian tribes of Virginia, letterpress tables in text. In very good condition, ownership name.
