Small octavo, 8 volumes bound in full contemporary calf with morocco spine labels lettered in gilt, elaborate gilt tooling to the spine in six compartments within raised gilt bands, double gilt ruling to the front and rear panels, gilt central ornament of Cambridge University Local Examination Eastbourne Center to each front panel, gilt turn-ins, marbled endpapers, all edges marbled, frontispiece portrait of Macaulay to Vol I. In very good condition. A rare complete set.
