First editions of each of the acclaimed volumes on the architectural history of New York. Thick quartos, five volumes, original cloth, with photographs and illustrations. New York 1880 is boldly signed by Robert A.M. Stern, David Fishman, and Thomas Mellins on the half-title page. New York 2000 is a presentation copy, inscribed by the author on the half-title page, "For Pam Schafler with best wishes Robert Stern 2007." Each are near fine to fine in near fine to fine dust jackets. Jacket designs by Abigail Sturges and Martin Moskof. Ownership inscription to the front free endpaper of New York 1880. Ownership sticker to the front free endpaper of New York 1900. An exceptional set, rare and desirable signed.
