Casino Royale is near fine in a very good price-clipped dust jacket with chipping to the extremities including the crown of the spine and upper right corner of the front panel, light toning to the rear panel. Live and Let Die is near fine in a very good dust jacket (first state without printed acknowledgement to the author or the artist Kenneth Lewis) with light wear to the crown of the spine Signed on the front free endpaper, "Cubby Broccoli, Regards." Albert R. Broccoli ('Cubby') (1909-96) produced many of the James Bond films including Live and Let Die. Bookplate of Christian Heuer to the pastedown.   First edition of the second James Bond novel, Octavo, bound by in full morocco by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, gilt titles and tooling to the spine, raised bands, inner dentelles, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt, inscribed to two-time Oscar winner Leslie Bricusse by Roger Moore and the director, Guy Hamilton. Association copy, inscribed on the verso of the half-title "Happy memories. Guy Hamilton" and on the title page, "Dear Leslie - Happy Memories of my 1st! Roger Moore." Leslie Bricusse has neatly written in black ink and underlined in red ink "Guy Hamilton (Director)" and "Roger Moore 007." The 1973 film Live and Let Die is a spy thriller and the eighth film in the James Bond series produced by Eon Productions. It marked the debut of Roger Moore as the MI6 agent James Bond. Directed by Guy Hamilton and produced by Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman, the film's script was written by Tom Mankiewicz. Although the producers approached Sean Connery to return after Diamonds Are Forever, he declined, leading to a search for a new Bond lead, which resulted in Moore being cast.
