First edition of this wonderful history of voting in America, focusing on the disenfranchisement of women and Black Americans. Octavo, original cloth, illustrated with photographs. In near fine condition. Winifred J. Robinson's copy with her bookplate and signature on front endpaper. Robinson was dean of the Women's College at the University of Delaware for many years.
