First edition of this children’s classic. Oblong quarto, original cloth, illustrated. Boldly signed by Judi Barrett, with an original drawing of clouds and meatballs and by the illustrator Ron Barrett on the front free endpaper and on the pastedown and again on a bookplate with an original drawing. Fine in a fine dust jacket. Housed in a half morocco clamshell box made by the Harcourt Bindery. First editions are exceptionally rare, we have never seen another signed by both authors and with drawings.
