First edition of this scarce monograph on the works of Addison Mizner, with 185 striking large folio photogravures of Mizner’s iconic Florida buildings. Folio, bound in full red crushed levant morocco by the Harcourt Bindery with gilt titles and tooling to the spine in six compartments within raised gilt bands, gilt ruling to the front and rear panels, gilt central vignette of a Mizner villa, wide gilt-scrolled inner dentelles stamp-signed by the Harcourt Bindery, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt. Harcourt Bindery uses 22 karat genuine gold leaf, top grades of Nigerian moroccos, and hand marbled papers from craftsmen representing seven countries. In fine condition. Introduction by Ida M. Tarbell. An exceptional example.
