Antiquarian bookstore Raptis Rare Books will host a book-signing in Palm Beach with FOX News host and former White House press secretary Dana Perino on April 17.
The event will run from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the store, 329 Worth Ave.
Perino will sign copies of her debut novel, “Purple State,” which marks a new chapter in her literary career, according to advance publicity about the appearance. The novel explores themes of contemporary politics and personal ambition.
At FOX News Channel, Perino co-anchors the morning news program “America’s Newsroom” and co-hosts “The Five.” She also served as a press secretary during President George W. Bush’s administration.
Guests at Raptis Rare Books will have the opportunity to meet Perino and have her sign copies of “Purple State.” The event is part of the bookstore’s ongoing effort to host authors and provide readers with enhanced literary experiences, co-owner Matthew Raptis said.
Raptis Rare Books, in Via Roma on Worth Avenue, offers a collection of rare, signed and first-edition books, as well as private library-design services.
