Inscribed by John Grisham to the husband of Marion Vance; the photographer who took the photograph of the dust jacket portrait of John Grisham for this book and subsequent others. Inscribed as follows, "For ____ ______- A new friend. I hope you enjoy it. John Grisham 1-25-90". Light wear, else near fine in a very near fine jacket that has one minute closed tear. Laid in is a letter from the photographer explaining details of her relationship with the author. A very nice inscription with provenance.
