First editions. Octavo, two volumes. Original black cloth. Volume one is fine in a near fine dust jacket. Signed "Sincerely Harry S. Truman" on the half-title page of volume 1. Volume two is near fine in a near fine dust jacket. From the library of Samuel I. Rosenman. Rosenman was an advisor to Presidents Franklin Roosevelt and Harry S. Truman. Under their administration he was a leading figure in the war crimes issue. He was also the first official White House Counsel, then called Special Counsel between 1943 and 1946. Uncommon, especially in this condition.
